We are a small, dedicated Rhodesian Ridgeback breeder and after years in Southern California, we recently made a cross country move to North Carolina. We are fortunate to share our lives with several wonderful Rhodesian Ridgebacks - young and old! We are happy to share our love, our experience, and occasionally our puppies with like-minded dog people.
Our breeding program is limited on average to one litter a year. Each breeding is carefully planned for health, temperament, and type in order to produce sound athletic puppies for ourselves and for a few select show and companion homes.
We conduct the following recommended health screenings on our breeding stock and submit the results to OFA: hips, elbows, thyroid, eye certification, cardiac, and DM, degenerative myelopathy. We also DNA test for EOAD, early onset adult deafness. Only dogs that have normal results continue in our breeding program.
All pet quality puppies are placed with limited registration and spay/neuter contracts.
We do not ship puppies.
We are passionate about Rhodesian Ridgebacks and as stewards of the breed we encourage responsible RR ownership. We ask that you visit RRCUS for breed specific information before you purchase a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
