These 6 little butterballs are eyes open, ears open, and getting very mobile. Hmmm, Who will be the first over the whelping box threshold?

 Santa's little helpers are 2 weeks old today and busy gaining weight and opening their eyes. All pups are in the 3# club and a few closer to 4#
Yesterday puppies were 10 days old. Very soon they will be opening their eyes and ears. My days of sneaking in and out of the puppy room are numbered! left to right: Noel, Bright, Figgy, Dickins, Merry and Jolly     Puppies turned 1 week old yesterday and all are doing very well. They have been weighed everyday. All have more than doubled their birth weight. Some more than others 😀 Birth weight x 2 plus 2oz - 6oz! Merry little souls.  Puppies visited Dr Williams today for their new puppy wellness check and dewclaw removal. Everyone got an A+ All puppies are gaining weight nicely, 2-3 ounces per day!      Holiday line up Dickens, Figgy, Jolly, Noel, Bright and Merry. Cheena whelped 4 boys and 2 girls Saturday night.  Mister met us at Dr Cheryl's this morning and he, Cheena, Ava and Emma all had chiropractic adjustments. Mister's mom Kate made him wear the Santa hat. He's such a good sport!  Ok, here is Cheena's x-ray. Go ahead, venture a guess!  We are in serious countdown mode! Cheena had a pre whelping spa day today; nails trimmed and then a nice warm bath and a back rub. Tomorrow Cheena will visit Dr Cheryl for a chiropractic adjustment and then on to Yorba Regional to see Dr Becky and get an x-ray.we are ready and waiting to welcome Cheena x Mister puppies!  |
